A Cedar Creek Community Town Hall on the Proposed Pacifico Gas Plant & Data Center
The Pause, the Permit, and What Happens Next
A conversation about the place we call home
Pacifico’s proposal raises questions about the future of Cedar Creek and how residents can have a meaningful say in the decisions affecting our homes, families, and neighbors.
We’re sharing this video as a starting point for a conversation we’ll continue in person on October 20: what we know, what still needs answers, and how we can act together.
Join us October 20.
Join Lost Pines Watch and your neighbors for an evening of information, conversation, and community action. We’ll discuss the pause, where the air permit stands, the questions that remain, and what residents can do next.

Come ready to learn, speak up, and get involved.
- Get informed: Hear project updates and an explanation of what they mean for our community.
- Be heard: Ask questions, share concerns, and join breakout groups to discuss community priorities and next steps.
- Get involved: Sign up for updates, volunteer opportunities, and community outreach.
- Spread the word: Pick up signs and stickers to help reach more neighbors.
- Support the effort: Learn more about the work underway and ways to help fund it.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve been following the project closely or are just hearing about it.
We need donations to keep this work going.
The updates you see are only part of the work. Behind the scenes, volunteers are obtaining and reviewing public records, checking technical claims, coordinating technical and legal input, following deadlines, and organizing community outreach.
Donations help cover public-records fees, research and organizing costs, signs, fliers and stickers, and the website and communication tools that keep neighbors informed.
Volunteer time matters. So does the money needed to support it. If you can contribute, please donate now. You don’t have to wait for the town hall.
Follow the Lost Pines Watch Facebook page, too.
RSVP to the event, and follow our page for event announcements, project updates, and ways to help. Please invite your neighbors to follow along.
